Refund policy
One simple rule, everywhere: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first payment. How to ask, and what happens next.
Last updated: 2026-10-08
The short version: if MathsSolve isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. You don't need to give a reason.
The rule
You can have a full refund of any first payment if you ask within 14 days of making it. This covers:
- the first payment of a Pro subscription, monthly or yearly;
- the payment for a one-time pass, such as our India passes (coming soon).
The same rule applies in every country. You get back the full amount you paid.
How to ask for a refund
Within 14 days of the payment, contact us using the support link in your account, or email us at the address shown on our website. Please tell us:
- the email address used to pay; and
- the order number from your receipt, if you have it.
Payments are handled by our payment providers: Creem for cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Dodo Payments for payments in India. They act as the official seller (the "merchant of record"), issue your receipt, and send the money back to you.
What happens next
- We confirm your refund by email.
- The money goes back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take a few working days to show it.
- Pro ends when the refund is made. A subscription is cancelled at the same time, so you won't be charged again.
If you bought Pro for a student, their Pro ends too, and they go back to the free plan. Everything that is free stays free.
Renewals
- Monthly plans renew every month, and yearly plans every year, until you cancel.
- Before a yearly plan renews, we email you a reminder.
- The 14-day refund applies to first payments, not renewals. If a renewal has gone wrong — for example, you meant to cancel — please contact us anyway and we'll look at it.
- One-time passes never renew. When the pass ends, the account simply goes back to the free plan.
Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription at any time from Settings → Billing, in one step. After you cancel:
- you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for;
- you won't be charged again.
Cancelling on its own doesn't give a refund. If you're still within 14 days of your first payment and want your money back, ask for a refund as well.
Your legal rights
This policy is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law where you live, such as the 14-day right to cancel online purchases in the UK and EU. It doesn't take any of those rights away.
This policy is a working draft prepared for launch and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before the service is opened to the public.
